  • DAY 1 Welcome to Copenhagen

    Your Scandinavia tour begins in Copenhagen where

    you’ll be transferred to your centrally located hotel.

    Settle into your home for the next two nights taking

    in the spaces designed with the understated

    elegance of minimalist style including original

    exposed beams. After a quiet stroll along the canal,

    join your Traveling Concierge for a Welcome Dinner

    at Høst Restaurant in the heart of the city. The

    Danish word for “harvest,” Høst will delight your

    palate with fresh Nordic ingredients with big flavors.

    DAY 2 Highlights of Copenhagen

    Copenhagen extends a warm welcome on your

    guided tour with a Local Expert. View the statue of

    the Little Mermaid inspired by Hans Christian

    Andersen’s famous fairytale and the Rosenborg

    Castle. Uncover more of the city your way visiting

    the Museum of the Amalienborg Palaces, where -- in

    some rooms still used by the royal family -- you’ll

    feel the opulence of Danish royalty viewing

    Victorian furnishings and décor. Or, join a Local

    Expert at the Torvehallerne food market sampling

    smørrebrød, the famous open-faced sandwich, and

    DAY 3 Scenic Vittaryd

    Savour a Relaxed Start with the option of breakfastin-bed room service. Cross into Sweden on the

    Øresund Bridge and tunnel, the longest combined

    countryside.

    DAY 4 Cross-country to Stockholm

    Travel cross-country, embracing the Swedish

    countryside en route to its capital city of

    Stockholm. Along the way you’re treated to

    stunning views of Lake Vättern, Sweden's second

    largest lake lined with castle ruins and charming

    towns and villages. Arrive in cosmopolitan

    Stockholm at your stylish 5-star luxury hotel set

    within a charming building dating back to 1617.

    From your central location near the grand Royal

    Palace, venture to the city’s many tempting

    museums, shops and cafes all built upon 14

    islands. Guests are invited to attend one of

    Scandinavia’s most visited maritime museums,

    displaying the almost fully intact 17th century Vasa

    warship. On this VIP after-hours visit, you will be

    embarking on a completely private museum tour. As

    DAY 5 Highlights of Stockholm

    Stockholm is yours to discover and, accompanied

    by a Local Expert, you’ll watch it unfold in a rainbow

    of colors. Visit the City Hall's dazzling Gyllene

    salen, the Golden Hall, where 18 million mosaic

    tiles of gold and coloured glass gleam and glimmer

    around you. Step into the Blå Hallen, the Blue Hall,

    home to the prestigious yearly Nobel Prize

    banquets. Then make your way to the city’s central

    medieval island to walk the cobbled streets of the

    Old Town, view the Royal Palace and gaze at the

    cathedral built in 1279.

    DAY 6 Majestic Bergen

    Say “adjö” to Sweden and “hallo” to Norway as you

    cruise over vast lakes and legendary forests on your

    flight from Stockholm to Norway’s historic port city

    of Bergen. Settle into your hotel located steps from

    the harbour that - housed in the upper floors of

    Bergen's old stock exchange - will immediately

    show off Bergen’s charm. Outside you’ll be delighted

    by rows of primary-coloured wooden houses set

    against a backdrop of deep fjords and green hills.

    Stroll the Hanseatic Wharf dating back to the 14th

    century, itself a UNESCO World Heritage site, when

    Bergen was the centre of trade between Norway and

    the rest of Europe. Pop into one of the many

    museums and boutiques before indulging in dinner

    at a local restaurant in this UNESCO City of

    Gastronomy.

    DAY 7 Edvard Grieg's Bergen

    Experience the sights, sounds and sumptuous

    tastes of Bergen with a Local Expert at the lively

    Fish Market. Wander through the stalls, taking in the

    bounty of deep red and blue berries and the freshest

    seafood as salty sea air wafts overhead. Your

    knowledgeable guide will share how the market has

    been a meeting place for merchants and fishermen

    since the 1200s and is still the heartbeat of this

    quaint city. Continue to the 13th-century Håkon's

    Hall, a former royal residence, before a curated visit

    to Troldhaugen, the former summer home of

    Norway’s renowned composer and pianist, Edvard

    DAY 8 The Flåm Railway and Geiranger

    Embark on one of the most beautiful train trips in

    the world ascending from Bergen’s Voss Station to

    Myrdal on the stunning Flåm Railway. Comfortable

    lettering, wood-paneled walls and chrome luggage

    racks, you’ll surely be impressed on this epic

    journey climbing 2841 feet. Wind alongside snowcovered peaks, thundering waterfalls, dramatic

  • Booking and Payments

    • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to confirm your booking.

    • Final Payment: The balance must be paid in full 90 days before the departure date. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your booking.

    Cancellations and Refunds

    • Cancellation by Client:

    • More than 90 days before departure: Loss of deposit.

    • 30-90 days before departure: 65% of the total tour cost.

    • Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of the total tour cost.

    • Cancellation by Company: We reserve the right to cancel the tour due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.

    • Changes to Itinerary

    • Flexibility Required: Weather and road conditions may necessitate changes to the planned route and itinerary. Flexibility is essential.

    • Substitutions: We reserve the right to substitute accommodations and services of similar standard when necessary.

    Travel Insurance

    • Mandatory: Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, personal injury, and emergency evacuation is mandatory for all participants.

    • Proof Required: Proof of insurance must be provided before the tour begins.

    Health and Safety

    • Fitness Level: A reasonable level of fitness is required for participation in the activities outlined in the tour itinerary.

    • Medical Conditions: Participants must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions at the time of booking.

    • Responsibility: The company will not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property that occurs during the tour.

    • Third-Party Services: The company is not responsible for the actions or omissions of third-party providers, such as airlines or accommodation services.

    Visas and Documentation

    • Passport Validity: Passports must be valid for at least six months beyond the return date.

    • Visas: Obtaining necessary visas and travel documents is the responsibility of the participant.

    Conduct

    • Respect for Culture: Participants are expected to respect local customs and cultures.

    • Behavior: Disruptive or harmful behavior may result in the participant being asked to leave the tour, with no refund provided.

    Complaints

    • Immediate Reporting: Any complaints should be reported immediately to the tour leader to allow for a timely resolution.

    • Post-Tour Complaints: Complaints must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the tour's conclusion.
